Coors Wear Products, Inc.
I
was employed by Coors Wear Products, Inc. from December 1992 to May
1993. Originally, I was hired for a part-time position as a CAD Technician.
One month later, as a result of my performance, I was offered and accepted
a full time position as a Technical Engineer.
Coors Wear
Products, Inc. is a manufacturer of commercial ceramic wear-lined products
and solutions used in processing industries. Specialized applications
include, but are not limited to fan systems, cyclones, process piping,
chutes, and valves.
I
was responsible for preparing proposal work for potential clients. Work
included design, drawing, estimating, follow-up, and machinist/fabricator
vendor appointment.
During
my employment, I introduced a breakthrough three-dimensional design
method for ceramic brick patterns over curved surfaces. The company
benefitted by saving many manhours of labor and materials costs for
the resulting near-perfect pattern fit.
Futher
achievements include post-employment contract work to produce presentation
graphics (CAD) for marketing, pipe system drawings, and training a replacement
employee.
